  1. Thank you for purchasing Sienna Software's
  2. Starry Night Deluxe for Windows 95/NT.

  7. IMPORTANT: Starry Night for Windows requires
  8. that you have QuickTime 3.0 or later installed.
  9. You should run the QuickTime installer
  10. (QuickTm3.exe) located on this CD-ROM before
  11. running Starry Night.

  13. To install Starry Night and QuickTime:
  14.  
  15. 1. Insert the compact disk into the CD-ROM drive.
  16. 2. Click the Start button and point to Settings.
  17. 3. Click Control Panel.
  18. 4. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. The Add/Remove
  19.    Programs' Properties dialog box appears.
  20. 5. Click Install.
  21. 6. Click Next. The Installer program finds the
  22.    setup file for Starry Night (Setup.exe).
  23.    Before installing Starry Night push the
  24.    Browse button to find the setup file for
  25.    installing QuickTime.
  26. 7. Select "QuickTm3.exe".
  27. 8. Click Finish.
  28. 9. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
  29. 10.After the installation is complete, install
  30.    Starry Night.
  31. 11.Repeat steps 1 to 5 to return to the Installer
  32.    program.
  33. 12.Click Next. The Installer program finds the
  34.    setup file for Starry Night (Setup.exe).
  35. 13.Click Finish.
  36. 14.Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

  38. You will need a web browser to read Starry Night's
  39. manual and to use the LiveSky(tm) features of
  40. Starry Night. If you do not currently have a web
  41. browser you should install one. Netscape Navigator
  42. is located in the "Extras" folder on the Starry
  43. Night CD-ROM.

  45. Starry Night Deluxe for Windows ships with the
  46. free LiveSky(tm) plug-in for interfacing
  47. Starry Night with the vast resources of
  48. astronomy information on the world wide web.
